Harley-Davidson India hosts its first virtual H.O.G. Rally

Over the course of a year, the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) chapters across the country set out on multiple group rides they refer to as H.O.G. Rallies. Owing to the pandemic, this year’s Eastern H.O.G. Rally, which was scheduled for March 2020, did not take place. And so, the American manufacturer hosted it live, online.

Harley-Davidson India tells us that its hour-long live streaming show saw engagement from over 5.7 lakh viewers across its social media platforms. The event was organised as an opportunity for Harley enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their passion for the famed American manufacturer in these trying times. The virtual Rally commenced with Sajeev Rajasekharan, managing director, Asia Emerging Markets and India at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, addressing the participants, followed by a quick view on the post-lockdown phase by Regional Directors and the host dealership - Bengal Harley-Davidson. The virtual event also included performances by artists such as Ash Chandler, The Unplugged Project, Rahul Ram from Indian Ocean and Debanjali Lily.

Another significant part of the event was the official launch of the Low Rider S, prices for which were earlier updated on the company’s India website.

Speaking on this first of its kind initiative, Sajeev Rajasekharan said, “Harley-Davidson has always thrived upon sharing experiential events with their riders. With these changing times, Harley-Davidson India is adapting to new ways to provide experiences to its riders and deliver upon the promise of a Harley lifestyle.  This virtual rally is a testament of our commitment towards celebrating the H.O.G. community and keeping our riders at the forefront of everything we do.”
