While the manual transmission is of the slick-shifting variety, the AGS delivers extra convenience. The AGS tech, developed and pioneered by Maruti Suzuki, has an Intelligent Shift Control Actuator which handles clutch and shift operations. AGS combines this actuator and the transmission electronic controller unit and directly mounts them in the transmission in order to unify the working components. This helps achieve optimum and synchronized control over the clutch, shifting and the engine, which translates into smooth gear changes.
The WagonR is also endowed with good ride quality and its robust suspension can handle most surface undulations without any fuss. Just in case you lean towards CNG, Maruti Suzuki also offers a BS6-compliant S-CNG version in its line-up.
Feature-packed and spacious
