- Subscription service offered in partnership with Orix, ALD Automotive and Myles
- Customers can choose from tenures of between 12 to 48 months
- Cars from Maruti Suzuki’s Arena and Nexa range available
Maruti Suzuki Subscribe: What’s to know
Introduced in July last year, Maruti Suzuki Subscribe was initially available in Bengaluru and Gurugram. By December the carmaker had expanded the service to include cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
Under the subscription programme buyers can acquire select new cars from Maruti Suzuki against payment of a monthly fee that varies depending on the duration of the subscription. Buyers have the option to get their vehicle with a white plate – registered in their own name – or a black plate – registered in the subscription partner’s name i.e Orix, Miles or ALD.
Buyers can opt for tenures from between 12 to 48 months – 12 month intervals for white plate and 6 month intervals for black plates – and annual distance coverage of between 10,000km to 25,000km.
Maruti Suzuki Subscribe: Vehicles offered
It must be noted that not all Maruti cars are available on subscription basis though buyers do get a wide selection of models. Cars available for subscription include the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Wagon R, Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga from the carmaker’s range of Arena models. Moving to the more premium Nexa range, customers can subscribe to the entire range of models available from the Ignis to the S-Cross.
Maruti Suzuki Subscribe: Monthly costs
Depending on the model, variant, location, yearly running, subscription tenure and registration type monthly payments will vary. Looking at a white number plate (private ownership) subscription tenure of 48 months with 10,000km yearly running subscription costs start as low as Rs 13,069 in Jaipur for the Wagon R LXi and run as high as Rs 31,615 per month for the fully-loaded XL6 Alpha automatic.
One must keep in mind that monthly payments are higher for shorter subscription periods as well as for higher annual distance coverage. Also to be noted is that not all cars mentioned above or all variants of the cars are likely to be available for subscription at all locations.
